Abstract:
PURPOSE: To store auxiliary data such as audio data relating to an object in picture data and especially to store efficiently auxiliary data even in relation to an object in which areas are in existence in duplicate.
CONSTITUTION: The camera is provided with an area information storage circuit 140 and when picture data and audio data or the like being auxiliary information are stored, link information is provided to the data and the resulting data are stored on an IC memory card 123. When the auxiliary information is stored, node information is stored as one bit map. Thus, a node is decided by the link information stored in matching with the auxiliary information and the auxiliary information relating to the specific node is reproduced by specifying the pattern in the case of reproduction.
