Abstract:

To provide filter equipment capable of being precisely and flexibly adapted to increase and fluctuation in water to be treated and fluctuation in water quality, having a small risk, and exceedingly excellent in a water treatment efficiency with compact equipment requiring only a small installation space by integrating the filtering technique of a conventional media filter basin and the filtering technique of a membrane filter device, solving the disadvantages of the two techniques.

Media and membrane filtration combined filter equipment includes the media filter basin M and the membrane filter S having a membrane module 16 disposed in a downward position from a water level L of the water to be treated during filtering of a filtration tank 11 of the media filter basin, and the filtration treatment of the water to be treated H introduced into the filtration tank 11 is simultaneously carried out by both the media filter basin and the membrane filter.
