PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize dual energy image acquisition.
SOLUTION: The image of a patient 205 provided by a first exposure is divided into concerned anatomical structures, each of divided anatomical structures is characterized by a set of patient parameters, and on the basis of the anatomical structures and the features of the anatomical structures, a second exposure is optimized on the basis of the divided anatomical structures. The final anatomical image is found by analyzing the first and second exposures.
