Abstract:
To provide a medium discharge device capable of properly mounting a plurality of media different in kind or size on a discharge tray while having high designability.SOLUTION: A medium discharge device has: a housing; a discharge roller for discharging media; and a discharge tray which is fitted rotatably to the housing, and has a first surface and a second surface formed on the reverse side of the first surface and on which media discharged by the discharge roller are mounted, wherein the first surface and second surface are formed of one member. On the first surface, a first recessed part which extends in a medium discharging direction and a first beam part which extends in the medium discharging direction to protrude from the first recessed part are formed. On the second surface, a second recessed part which extends in the medium discharging direction with the first beam part is formed, and a second beam part which extends in the medium discharging direction with the first recessed part to protrude from the second recessed part is further formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
