Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium storage cassette which can easily set a medium to a storage part.SOLUTION: A medium storage cassette comprises: a storage part that stores media to be delivered; a pressing plate that receives a biasing force to press the media in pressing direction, for aligning the medium; and a holding mechanism that causes the pressing plate having moved in a direction opposite to the pressing direction to be held at a standby position. The holding mechanism comprises an engaging part that engages with a cassette body when the pressing plate is located at the standby position.
