PURPOSE: To provide a metallic mold for centrifugal casting without causing the surface defect, such as flow mark, by arranging a ring shape gate consisting of ring shaped cavity between a center spout and a gate in concentrical state to the center sprue.

CONSTITUTION: This mold for metallic mold has a center spout 2, a gate 3 and a cavity 4, and the gate 3 and the cavity 4 are arranged in the radial direction to the center sprue 2. This metallic mold for centrifugal casting provided with a ring shape gate 3 consisting of ring shaped cavity between the center sprue 2 and the gate 3 in the concentrical state to the center sprue 2. Then, in order to produce this metallic mold, copper or copper alloy, such as pure copper, Be-Cu base copper alloy, Cr-Zr-Cu base copper alloy, are used. By this method, the flow mark caused on the casting surface can scarsely be eliminated and the following treatment, such as sand blast, is simplified.
