Abstract:

To obtain a catalyst and a catalyst system useful for polymerizing a polypropylene blend material, by supporting a three-dimensionally rigid isotactic specific metallocene catalyst component and a three-dimensionally rigid syndiotactic specific metallocene catalyst component on a catalyst carrier.

A three-dimensionally rigid isotactic-specific metallocene catalyst component of the formula R"(CpR2C4R4)(CpR'2C4R'4)MeQk [(CpR2C4R4) and (CpR'2C4R'4) are each a substituted indenyl ring; R and R' are each hydrogen, etc.; R" is a structure bridge for providing a three-dimensional rigidity; Me is a transition metal; Q is a halogen, etc.], and a three-dimensional syndiotactic- specific metallocene catalyst component of the formula R"(CpRn)(CpR'm)Mek (Cp is cyclopentadienyl, etc.; R" is a structure bridge for providing three- dimensional rigidity; Me is a metal of the group 4b, etc.; 0≤(k)≤3; 0≤(n)≤4; 1≤(m)≤4; R'm and Rn are different groups) are supported on a catalyst carrier.
