Abstract:
To provide a reaction acceleration method related to the hydrosiylation reaction of a polymer having an unsaturated bond with a silicon hydride compound in the presence of a catalyst.
This method for accelerating a hydrosilylation reaction, comprising reacting a polymer containing alkenyl groups (carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds) with a silicon compound in the presence of a catalyst containing the group 8 metal, characterized by carrying out the hydrosilylation reaction in the presence of a quinone compound.
