When a start-up switch 27 is switched on, a loom-controlling computer Co transmits copied data of all opening patterns included in all memorized weaving patterns and present pick data to a control circuit 24. The control circuit 24 memorizes the transmitted present pick data and all opening pattern data in a memory circuit 23. The loom-controlling computer Co transmits comparison unit data to the control circuit 24 in accordance with the input of a comparison data-requesting signal from the control circuit 24. The control circuit 24 compares identity of the transmitted comparison unit data with the unit data corresponding to the present pick data memorized in the memory circuit 23 and the unit data just before and after.
