Abstract:
To highly accurately and properly detect a sealing failure.
A status of sealing operation by a lateral heater block (sealing member) 5 is detected, and also whether the sealing operation by the block 5 has been properly performed is determined with predetermined simultaneous determination timing with which the block 5 seals a wrapping film. That is, a delay in operation of the lateral heater block 5 associated with a packaged object being bitten is observed, and the predetermined simultaneous determination timing is set to determine whether or not the sealing operation is good.
