Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a flat coil having a structure that is formed by stacking a plurality of flat cables in the direction of the thickness and bending them in the direction of the width into a cylindrical shape.
SOLUTION: The method comprises a cutting and bending step for cutting flat cables 1 and 2 to a fixed length and forming bends 1a and 2a by bending both ends of the flat cables 1 and 2 in the same direction, and a winding step in which using a flange section 11 with which the bends 1a and 2a are engaged and a first winding chuck 10 having a winding core section 15 protruding from the top end surface thereof, the winding chuck 10 is rotated in a state in which the bends 1a and 2a of the flat cables 1 and 2 supported in parallel to each other are engaged with the flange section 11, so that the flat cables 1 and 2 are stacked in the direction of the thickness, bent in the direction of the width, and wound around the winding core section 15, and thus a cylindrical winding section 3 is formed.
