PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the generation of deterioration in workability and work troubles when a web is introduced by having a device for controlling sagging in the web width direction in front of a tenter inlet. SOLUTION: In front of a tenter inlet 9, rotary rollers 10 in which an angle expanding outside the width direction toward the inlet 9 is a prescribed range are arranged in fringe parts, respectively, and the rollers 10 rotate to pull a web 1 outside the width direction. The roller 10 has a round projection without an edge angle to protect the surface of the roller from hurts, and the material of the surface is made a material which does not give affections such as fogging to a halogenated photographic photosensitive material. The number of revolution of the rollers 10 is controlled to make the transfer speed of the vector in the web transportation direction of the rollers 10 equal to the web transportation speed. Introduction troubles in the inlet 9 is eliminated, productivity can be improved, and a wide cellulose triacetate film can be obtained easily.
