Abstract:
To reduce the influence of the irregular moving speed in the sub- scanning direction on reading in the radiograph information reader.
Read is performed in a fixed read time for each read line of a stimulable phosphor sheet 50, the width Hi of the reading line is measured with a magnetic scale 60a and a magnetic detector 60b, and correction by using a correction means 31 is performed for the data which are obtained by reading the reading line according to the width Hi. Alternatively, the moving distance of the sheet 50 is measured with the magnetic scale 60a and the magnetic detector 60b, and the read time Ti of each reading line is controlled by a control means 32a so that the width of each read line of the sheet 50 becomes constant.
