PURPOSE: To ensure the maintenance of the performance of a mixer by rotating both revolving spindles respectively at different speeds, scraping off the deposit by the interaction of both blades before one blade of a conveying mixer solidifies the deposit of the kneaded material on the other blade and the revolving spindles.
CONSTITUTION: The blades 3a and 3b are provided vertically in the form of a screw at shifted positions in the axial direction along the circumferential direction of revolving spindles 1 and 2 which are installed in parallel, and the end of one blade is brought almost into contact with the other spindle by the rotation of the spindles. Both revolving spindles are rotated respectively at different speeds in the conveying mixer, and self-cleaning is carried out owing to the relative difference in the phase of the blades. The deposition and solidification of the kneaded material is prevented in this way, and the maintenance of the performance of the conveying mixer can be secured.
