Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accurately regulate an ink distribution necessary to offset print for reducing its cost and to coat with the ink by controlling the ink distribution according to digital data introduced from engraving data for generating two-dimensional ink distribution of width and circumferential directions on an outer surface corresponding to ink using.
CONSTITUTION: Ink droplets 8, 9 and 10 are formed by an ink jet unit at each rotation of an ink roller 4 to coat lattice-like elements 7 on a surface of the roller 4. Number of the elements 7 is decided by circumferential and width directions M, N of the roller 4. The smaller the elements 7 are, the better the elements 7 are. For example, a length of the width direction is smaller than 0.1 mm. The elements 7 are coated with predetermined number of ink droplets 8 to 10, and coated with ink amounts of a predetermined volume V(i, j). The volume V(i, j) to surface elements i, j are controlled to satisfy the formula, wherein S is an ideal ink layer thickness on the inking roller, S(x, y) is an actual value of the ink layer thickness on the roller corresponding to the elements i, j, and x, y are abscissa and ordinate axes of coordinates.
