Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bending a flat wire, which can control the thickness of a bent part of the flat wire to a preset thickness.SOLUTION: A method for bending a flat wire includes a bending step of forming a bent part BP in the flat wire RW by bending the flat wire RW in a width direction Dw in such a manner that a shaft 10 arranged on one side in the width direction Dw of the flat wire RW serves as a fulcrum. The method also includes a thickness control step of repeating the pressurization and release of the bent part BP until the thickness t of the bent part BP reaches a preset thickness or below, while measuring the thickness t of the bent part BP.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
