Abstract:

To prevent the coating of the inner face of a frange with pipe from being coated by inserting a rubber-coated cloth balloon cylindrically inflated by filling air, having an air feed pipe with a plug freely attachably and detachably inserted into its one end face and provided with an insertion stopper on the periphery close to the air pipe, into a pipe from its flange part and conducting coating.

The rubber-coated cloth balloon 1 is cylindrically inflated by filling it with air, a plastics plug 7 is inserted into the tip of a front end plate 2, and an air feed pipe 4 made of chloroprene rubber, having a parallel part of specified length and also used as a handle is furnished to the end plate 2. A chloroprene rubber insertion stopper 6 is circumferentially provided on the periphery a specified length away from the end plate 2. The rubber-coated cloth balloon 1 thus obtained is inserted into the pipe of the frange with pipe by holding the pipe 4 by hand from the flange part of the flange with pipe until the stopper 6 abuts on the flange face. Subsequently, the surface of the flange is coated with an epoxy paint at a specified temp. by air spraying.
