To provide a method of contactless data transmission in which a consumed current of a digital circuit of a transponder is reduced sharply.
This method relates to a method of contactless data transmission between a write/read device and the transponder which is driven with the write/read device. In the method, in order to inform transmission of modulated data (fD), the write/read device transmits a trigger pulse to a transmitting direction and/or receiving direction. When data are received, the transponder generates at least a clock signal (FTA). In order to transmit the modulated data, the transponder evaluates a synchronized signal (SS) transmitted by the write/read device. In that case, data transmission of transmitting direction and/or receiving direction is performed without a synchronous system clock.
