Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the setting of a number of conditions in the collection and compression operation of waste cotton.
CONSTITUTION: Waste cotton (w) generated from each of a number of spinning frames A is loaded on a transfer cart S at prescribed weight in a state classified by the kind. The transfer carts S are primarily collected and transferred to a side of a common compression packaging apparatus 1 in a prescribed order. The waste cotton is supplied to the packaging apparatus 1 by a combination of a manual supply operation and an automatic supply operation to directly introduce the waste cotton of a preparatorily selected spinning frame Al to the compression packaging apparatus 1 to automatically perform the compression packaging operation. The kind and the amount of the waste cotton to be charged by the automatic supplying operation and the manual supplying operation are restricted by a mode preset by the use of a touch panel P. The setting of a number of modes and the operation of the apparatus can be facilitated by the use of the touch panel for the setting of various modes in the compression packaging of waste cotton supplied by the automatic supplying operation and the manual supplying operation.
