Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the combustion control in a continuous heating furnace at high accuracy while reducing calculating load at the time of minimizing the operational index, such as the unit requirement of a fuel, as a target.
SOLUTION: A steel material temp. distribution variation is calculated with a steel material temp. distribution model by assuming a future temp. history while utilizing the steel material temp. distribution model representing the internal temp. variation of the steel material in a minute time with a non-linear strict equation, a stationary fuel flowing quantity model and a representative positional temp. model composed of a non-linear simple model representing the temp. variation at the representative position of the steel material in a specific time range. Then, a heat transferring parameter of the representative positional temp. model is set from this calculated result and the optimum temp. raising target value satisfying the secureness of quality and the operational condition of energy saving of the steel material based on this representative positional temp. model and the stationary fuel flowing quantity model is obtd. by using a non-linear optimizing method and the furnace temp. for achieving the obtd. optimized temp. raising target value is set with the representative positional temp. model to execute the combustion control.
