Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten a running path of a continuous sheet, minimize a printing apparatus and reduce its cost by eliminating the slackening and flapping of the continuous sheet without using a suction and transfer unit.
CONSTITUTION: Scuff rollers 19 for running a continuous sheet PP is provided on the downstream side of a fixing unit 17, and a tractor 18 for running the continuous sheet PP is provided on the upstream side of a transfer unit 23. The running speed of the scuff rollers 19 is made relatively higher than that of the tractor 18, whereby the continuous sheet PP is pulled in a direction in which a stretching force is given to the continuous sheet PP.
