To provide a method for controlling the vibration and shape of a steel sheet in a position where the installation of sensors during operation is impossible in a process line for steel sheet.
The position of the steel sheet 1 is detected by position detecting sensors 2 and is compared with a target value by a subtractor 5, by which a deviation is calculated. A control circuit 6 drives electromagnets 3 via a driving circuit 7 in such a manner that this deviation attains 0. The output of the displacement sensor 2 is subjected to Laplace transformation and is inputted to an arithmetic and logic unit 30 which multiplies the output by a transmission function previously determined during the non-working of the equipment. The result thereof is thereafter subjected to reverse Laplace transformation and is inputted to an arithmetic and logic unit 5'. The target value of control is previously inputted to the arithmetic and logic unit 5. The difference between the outputs of an arithmetic and logic unit 30 and the target value is inputted to a second control circuit 40. This second control circuit 40 determines and affords the input (target value) to the subtractor 5 in such a manner that this deviation is made zero.
