Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling the waiting in a mobile communication system which can prevent the drop of call success percentage even if the zone made by a base station is not ideal.
SOLUTION: In the method of controlling the waiting in the mobile communication system, a mobile unit existing in a zone made by the base station performs waiting by selecting such a control channel that the reception quality of the control channel received from that base station becomes specified. The mobile unit judges whether the control channel used for call is bad or not based on the frequency of failure of a call, and shifts to another control channel and performs waiting in the case that it has judged the above control channel bad in the above judgement.
