Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cooling an electrode and a cooling structure for seam welding equipment with which cooling efficiency is improved.
SOLUTION: The both faces of a seam electrode 301 are cooled by using a cooling structure which has a rotatably supported electrode shaft in which a cooling water supplying duct 113 and a cooling water ejecting duct 115 are formed, and a seam electrode 301 provided at the end face side of the electrode shaft. The seam electrode is cooled by coiling water supplied from a cooling water supplying duct and discharged from a cooling water discharge duct.
