Title:
METHOD OF DECOMPOSING ORGANIC CHLORINE COMPOUND IN INCINERATION ASH AND SOIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001009407
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for decomposition of organic chlorine compounds by which organic chlorine compounds such as dioxins can be effectively decomposed and removed at a rather low temperature in an easy procedure at a low cost.

By the decomposition method of organic chlorine compounds, a mixture of a reaction agent containing single carbon and an alkali metal compound and/or alkaline earth metal compound, and ash or soil containing organic chlorine compounds is heated to 150 to 300°C while air or an inert gas is supplied to the mixture. Or, by the decomposition method of organic chlorine compounds, the used reaction agent with deposition of the ash containing organic chlorine compounds is heated to 150 to 300°C while air or an inert gas is supplied to the used reaction agent to bring the air or inert gas containing vaporized organic chlorine compounds into contact with the new reaction agent at ≥100°C.
