Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting abnormality of a displacement measuring device for detecting open circuit of output signal wiring of a resolver in the displacement measuring device measuring the displacement of distance between a vehicular body part and a truck part of a rolling stock using a turning angle of the resolver adhered to the vehicular body part.
SOLUTION: A turning angle meter using the resolver adhered to the vehicular body part and a connecting rod adhered to the truck part are connected by a connecting mechanism such as a linkage mechanism and a rack-and-pinion mechanism. Upper and lower limits of a turning angle of the resolver are set to 175 and 95 degree, respectively, using a characteristic to show the turning angle around 90 or 180 degree in the open circuit of the output signal wiring when the turning angle is restricted, for example, within a range of 100-170 degree. An output value from the resolver is received during traveling (step S1), and the turning angle indicated by the output value received is compared with the upper limit and the lower limit (step S3). When the output value is not within a range between the upper and lower limits (step S4: Y), the output signal wiring is determined to be the open circuit.
