Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination method of appropriate initial contaminant concentration to accurately obtain the quantitative evaluation of the elution of contaminants from a solidified body.
SOLUTION: The solidified body having specific dimensions is dipped into a solvent for necessary time, lapse time and the amount of change in contaminant concentration in the solvent are measured, an asymptotic value C0 in integral elusion mass Cdif per volume of the solidified body in the contaminants flowing out of a specimen is obtained based on the obtained measurement value, and the asymptotic value C0 is set to be initial contaminant concentration.
