Abstract:

To provide a device for adjusting the contact pressure of an intaglio printing press capable of reducing a load on an operator in print preparation, and eliminating the waste of print materials such as paper and ink.

The contact pressure of a wiping roll 20 after it is adjusted in accordance with printing specifications such as a type of ink and a type of a pattern is stored, and when printing is performed in accordance with the same print specifications again, the stored contact pressure of the wiping roll 20 is read and set.
