Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry out ocean oil and gas well operations in deep water by the support of a compliant platform.
CONSTITUTION: A position is set to a well site where an offshore drilling vessel 40 is selected, and the offshore drilling vessel 40 is restricted for a compliant platform 10. Drilling operation is carried out from the drilling vessel by a riser 46 being extended between the oil well of the oil well site and the drilling vessel, and the communication between the riser 46 and the compliant platform 10 is established. After the drilling operation is completed, the restriction of the offshore drilling vessel is released for the compliant platform for disengagement.
