Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of cooling a steel plate at an even temperature in its width direction. SOLUTION: This cooling device comprises plurality of a water cooling headers 2a and 2b arranged along the cross direction of a carrying line and on the upper part of a steel plate carrying line, slit nozzles 4a and 4b arranged beneath the cooling water headers 2a and 2b capable of feeding the cooling water towards the on-going direction of the steel plate 22, and a transfer measure 5 which transfer cooling water header 2b located at the both ends among the cooling water headers 2a and 2b, towards the down stream side of the on-going direction of the steel plate 22.
