Abstract:

To provide a method for correcting the bend of a bamboo material, with which crushing is prevented and inexpensive products can be easily obtained with high productivity, and tp provide a device therefor.

In correcting the bend of the bamboo material performed by temporarily applying a load to reverse original bending to opposite bending, a pair of support rolls 2 and 3 is provided to support a bamboo material 1, a push-in roll 4 is disposed between the supports rolls 2 and 3 to apply the concentrated load in a right-angle direction to the bamboo material 1, all the rolls are formed into drum shapes, and the axis of each roll is inclined with respect to the passing direction of the bamboo material 1 so that when at least one roll is rotary-driven, the bamboo material 1 passes from one of the support rolls 2 and 3 to the other while rotating around the axis.
