Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for simply and inexpensively correcting an imaging position deviation as a result of deflection of an LED head associated with a temperature elevation in an exposure device, and an imaging position deviation (skew) due to linearity arrangement deflection (bow) and slant setting of the head.
SOLUTION: The imaging position deviation of a light emitting diode array due to the temperature elevation is stored beforehand in a storage means as the relation of a use state of light emitting diodes and an imaging position deviation amount by the image formation. The imaging position deviation amount of the light emitting diode array is obtained from the storage means by use state data from a means for grasping the use state of the light emitting diodes. The imaging position deviation by the temperature elevation of the light emitting diode array is corrected by controlling an exposure address by the light emitting diodes of image data.
