Further, on the side wall of the square vessel 22, a microwave oscillator 14 is mounted so as to irradiate microwaves 15 uniformly and scatteredly in the vessel 5 In addition, N2 gas is charged in the vessel 1 from the bottom of the vessel 1 so as to cool the surface of the pellet 3. By heating the interior of the pellet with the microwaves 15 and activating the internal diffusion of heat, the shortening of the drying time of the pellet is contrived.
