Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LENS TILT ADJUSTMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3392904
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To smoothly adjust the tilt of a lens mounted on a movable supporting member.
CONSTITUTION: A laser beam is projected from an objective lens 150 and an optical interference fringe is generated by means of the reflected light of the laser beam by a hemispherical lens 202. The magnitude of the strain of the interference fringe is changed by the relative tilt of the objective lens 150 and a cover glass A. Next, a claw 401 for tilt adjustment is brought into contact with the upper surface of the objective lens 150. By energizing the solenoid coil 163 of a supporting member 151, the supporting member 151 is raised and the objective lens 150 is abutted on the claw 401 for tilt adjustment. The claw 401 for tilt adjustment is separated from the objective lens 150 and the strain of the interference fringe is observed. When the objective lens 150 is further tilted, the claw 401 for tilt adjustment is inclined. The claw 401 for tilt adjustment is brought into contact with the upper surface of the objective lens 150, the supporting member 151 is again raised and the objective lens 150 is abutted on the claw 401 for tilt adjustment. Thereafter, the similar procedure is repeated.
