Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise predicting method for a toothed belt allowing noise of the toothed belt to be predicted purely analytically, a device and a program thereof.
SOLUTION: This noise predicting method comprises a step S1 for calculating belt displacement at each step, a step S2 for calculating time interval at each step, a step S3 for calculating displacement or fluctuation speed as a function of time or frequency from the belt displacement and time interval, a step S4 for calculating response displacement or vibration mode of belt chord vibration and speed of belt chord vibration from the displacement or fluctuation speed, a step S5 for calculating acoustic emission efficiency from the response displacement of belt chord vibration or vibration mode, and a step S6 for calculating emission sound pressure level or acoustic emission power level from the speed of belt chord vibration and the acoustic emission efficiency.
