Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the process control system which reduces the number of rules or membership functions and is dependent upon a fuzzy control means. CONSTITUTION:A process controller 1 which determines the manipulated amount of a control object 2 is provided with an input/output means which takes a present value (y) of the controlled amount as the input and outputs the determined manipulated amount, a forecasting means 12 which has a simulator 12 of the control object and calculates a controlled amount y' after a certain time when continuation of a present value (u) of the manipulated amount is assumed, and a fuzzy control means 11 which takes the deviation between a set target value Href and the forecasted value y' as the input to infer the manipulated amount. The simulator simulates the control object with the dead time, the primary delay, etc. Thus, inference is simplified and the resistance to noise is improved because only the forecasted value of the control deviation is used as the input of fuzzy control.
