Simulation to particles in a vessel is performed in a way such that positional change with time of the particles stored in the vessel are calculated and displayed based on the shape of the vessel, mixing and stirring conditions, physical characteristic values of the particles and the physical characteristic values of the wall surface of the vessel. In the simulation, the spent quantity of noticing particles (toner particles) which is generated in accordance with mixing and stirring of the particles (two-component developer for electrophotography) in the vessel is calculated and displayed based on contact force or shearing force to be exerted, for example, between the noticing particles (toner particles) and the opposite particles (carrier particles), etc.
