Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automate security pattern designation by storing patterns, which include start time, end time and a day of the week to activate the patterns, and operating the control means of an elevator car according to the pattern when current time and a current day of the week are coincident with one pattern.
CONSTITUTION: A processor 130 designates a time based pattern and stores it in a memory 132 while transacting with an operator through a display means 116c and a keyboard 116a. Next, time and a day of the week are periodically read from a real time clock 138. Then, the current time and current day of the week are compared with the start time of one time based pattern stored in the memory 132. When they are coincident, it is judged whether the status of the pattern is ON or OFF and in the case of ON, the elevator is driven by transmitting the information of the pattern through an I/O subsystem 136, an ICSS 114b and annular communication buses 102 and 103 to an OCSS 101 in the designated group.
