Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation efficiency of a device by clearly displaying such as the selection state of a plurality of parallelly performable functions and preventing of a misoperation by an operator.
SOLUTION: A function information displaying part 32 arranges the messages of 'copy function available', 'printer function available' and 'facsimile function available' vertically and displays the messages in display areas 32a to 32c being equal to one another in the case any function among a copy function, a printer function and a facsimile function is not carried out. When an external device inputs a print request, the displaying part 32 displays the message of 'the printer function in use' together with the operation condition of image processing in the areas 32a and 32b and displays the messages of 'copy function partially available' and 'facsimile function partially available' in areas obtained by dividing the area 32c into two. While the printer function is carried out, information about the printer function is displayed in a display area being four times as large as those of information about the copy function and information about the facsimile function.
