To provide a maintenance free method for safely disposing hazardous industrial wastes without danger of polluting living environments in the future and equipment for disposing the wastes.

A disposal site for hazardous industrial wastes is constructed under the sea bed of a sea coast. In the disposal site a waste package (7) can be transferred from ground facilities (1) to receive the wastes, through a vertical shaft (2), a relay station (3), a tunnel (4) and a carrying-in hall (5) and can be disposed of by fixing and sealing the package (7) in a concrete vault of the disposal site (6) with an overhead travelling crane and a forklift or the like.
