The device for disposing garbage is provided with a main body 1, a container 10 arranged in the main body 1 to contain the garbage 11, a vertically opening and closing lid 3 with a one-side hinge 4 covering the upper opening of the container 10, a first heating unit 9, installed on the reverse side of the lid 3 and capable of turning with the lid 3, to heat the garbage 11 from above in the container 10, and a second heating unit 16 to heat the garbage 11 from below. A detachable cover formation 13 covering the first heating unit 9 is attached to the first heating unit 9. In this case, a latch unit 12 to separate the cover formation 13 from the first heating unit 9 when the lid 3 is partially open can be installed.
