Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a positional deviation of a press plate during printing by interposing a sheet material having specific initial elastic modulus between a lithographic printing plate and a plate cylinder of a printer in the case of extending the printing plate on the cylinder.
SOLUTION: In the case of extending the lithographic printing plate on a plate cylinder of a printer, a sheet material 3 having an initial elastic modulus of 300 kg/cm2 or less is interposed between the printing plate 2 and the cylinder 1. In this case, to reduce a frictional coefficient between the plate 2 and the cylinder 1, a mat surface 4 of the material 3 is brought into direct contact with a rear surface of the plate 2. In this case, the material 3 is preferably fixed to the cylinder 2 with adhesive or the material 3 is inserted between the plate 2 and the cylinder 1 each time of plate engaging operation without fixing it. And, at least one surface of the material 3 is processed in a fine protrusion and recess surface. Accordingly, the material 3 is functioned as cushion. Thus, a positional deviation of the press plate during printing can be prevented.
