PURPOSE: To provide a conveyance method and conveyance equipment wherein conveyance substances from a plurality of lines are processed with high efficiency and delivered to a single line.

CONSTITUTION: When conveyance substances fed from some of a plurality of first lines 10a, 10b, and 10c are delivered to a single second line 18, the conveyance substances from the first line are conveyed to a single confluent line 12 into which all the first lines are joined. The conveyance substances from the confluent line are assorted by an assorting device 14 and conveyed to some of a plurality of branch lines 16 into which the confluent line is branched. Thereafter, the conveyance substances from the branch line 16 are conveyed to a second line 18 into which all the branch lines are joined. This constitution, when some processing is applied on the conveyance substances on the branch line, feeds the conveyance substances in a quantity suitable for the processing amount to the branch line 16.
