Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a color film having no abnormality in appearance and excellent in smoothness by applying one-pack type interlaminar chipping-resistant paint in specific film thickness and successively applying color base paint and clear paint to the surface of the formed cured film.

CONSTITUTION: One-pack type interlaminar chipping-resistant paint is applied to the surface of an aluminum product at least in film thickness of 100μm or more and dried to form a cured film and color base paint is applied to the surface of the cured film to be preparatorily dried. Subsequently, clear paint is applied to the surface of the preparatorily cured film and the whole is integrally baked and cured. As the interlaminar chipping-resistant paint, there is one-pack type urethane paint wherein a main component is a polyester resin and a crosslinking agent is a blocked isocyanate type one, and the running of a film is prevented by the use of a proper amount of a filler having a small particle diameter and film thickness of 100μm or more can easily be obtained. The color coat paint is not especially limited but acrylic melamine type color coat paint is used generally.
