Abstract:
To provide a method for readily and precisely fractionating polynucleotide fragments, and further to provide a library of a polynucleotide possessing the polynucleotide fragments fractionated by the method.
This method for fractionating the polynucleotide fragments is characterized in that a mixture of the polynucleotide fragments having various sizes is subjected to electrophoresis in an agarose gel at 10-30 V for 10-20 hr to fractionate the polynucleotide fragments having prescribed ranges of the sizes. The polynucleotide library is characterized in that the library possesses the polynucleotide fragments fractionated by the method.
