PURPOSE: To provide a design changing information giving method in structural analysis designing procedure by giving only changed design information and reducing the influence of a change in design upon developing work.

CONSTITUTION: Design information consisting of design structural elements prepared by a tool for supporting the structural analysis designing procedure is written by a comman format (steps S01, S02), the contents of design information obtained before and after a change are mutually compared by utilizing that the constitutional elements of the design information are uniquely named, design information constitutional elements obtained by generation, correction and deletion are extracted (steps S03 to S08), the elements are collected and written as design changing information by the common format (step S09), and the design changing information is given to the tool supporting the software development (step S10).
