Abstract:
To provide a method of handling roaming of a mobile device to a restricted area and from a restricted area.
A method comprises: receiving a location update request from a mobile device (S305); determining whether or not the location update request is of a location area where access by the mobile device is restricted (S320); when it is of a location area where access by the mobile device is restricted, causing a network to set the "LA not allowed" flag to send a location update reject message to the mobile device (S325), thereby preventing update of a location identifier stored in the mobile device.
