Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a detergent reduced in unpleasant odor of rice bran by adding NaOH and water to the rice bran to advance saponification and adding and mixing an organic acid with the treated rice bran while heating.
CONSTITUTION: (B) 3-8wt.% NaOH and (C) 60-65wt.% water are added to (A) 30-35wt.% rice bran to promote saponification of the rice bran and when the saponification of the rice bran is sufficiently advanced, 5-50wt.% of an organic acid or organic acid-containing natural material is added and mixed with a mixture of the components A, B and C to provide the objective detergent.
