To make it possible to control an amount of each of acetic acid and water and a residual solvent while keeping a transparent protective layer for storing image quality by incorporating a specified fibriform aluminosilicate polymer in a composition.
The composition to be used is a film-forming aqueous composition containing the fibriform aluminosilicate polymer of the formula Alx.Siy.Oz in which each of (x) and (y) is 1-3 and (z) is 2-6. This composition contains an aqueous polymer binder. This polymer binder alone is soluble in water. A useful polymer binder contains a protein binder such as a deionized gelatin and a gelatin derivative, and a hydrophilic cellulose-derived substance such as methyl cellulose, and polyalkylene glycol of 103-106mol.wt. (e.g. polyethylene glycol polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene oxide and polyacrylamide). This composition may contain a thickener, a wetting agent, a surfactant and a preservative.
