Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for joining a casting and an alloy of a kind different from that of the casting with extremely excellent joint strength at a low cost without equipment cost, etc., by an extremely simple means.
CONSTITUTION: Thermal spraying treatment is executed to the joining surface 2 of an alloy 1 to be joined of a kind different from that of a casting 4 to be joined, and this alloy 1 is put into a mold 3, and molten metal of the casting 4 to be joined is cast in a pouring part 5 for preheating other than the joining part to preheat the alloy 1. After heating the joining surface 2 of the alloy 1, the molten metal of the casting 4 is cast into a pouring part 6 for joining in contact with the joining surface 2 to join the casting 4 and the alloy 1.
